EDF Energies Nouvelles commissions a 24 MW wind farm in Greece
Pursuing its expansion in the European wind energy segment, EDF Energies Nouvelles announces the commissioning of the Trikorfo wind farm in Greece with an installed capacity of 24MW.
Located in central Greece, the Trikorfo wind farm is equipped with 3MW wind turbines, supplied by Danish manufacturer Vestas.
This wind farm was developed and built by EEN Hellas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the EDF Energies Nouvelles group in Greece.
The Trikorfo project represents the twelfth wind energy project completed by EDF Energies Nouvelles in Greece. A major player in the Greek wind energy industry, the Group today has 278MW in gross installed capacity.
